Network of excellence KliB is founded for Lithium-Ion Batteries

VARTA Microbattery GmbH together with further companies and research institutes along the entire value chain for lithium-ion batteries have created in Germany the Kompetenznetzwerk Lithium-Ionen Batterien (network of excellence for lithium-ion batteries – KLiB).

The aim of the national network is to strengthen Germany´s supplier industry along the entire value chain – from development to production to the marketing of lithium-ion batteries. The members strive to establish and use a common infrastructure for research/development, production and testing; synergy effects are to be exploited and uniform standards drawn up.

VARTA Microbattery with its high competence in electrochemical systems is therefore an ideal partner for co-operation in the network lithium-ion batteries.
